Our calculator is designed to assist in the planning and sizing of a sprinkler tank.

Cylindrical Option

Clicking on "cylindrical" will open a window and allow you to configure a circular tank.

Here are some useful tips for each section:

- Approval type: Choose either LPCB or FM. Note that each will provide different capacities due to deadwater allowances.

- Diameter: Select the tank height diameter you have depending on space available.

- Height: Select the height you want for the tank to be.

- Suction: Choose the suction size required.

- Inlet: Choose the inlet size.

You will see on the RHS of the box dimensions and capacities will change depending on your selection.

Rectangular 1.25 / 1.00 Corners

The flexibility of our design means the rectangular tanks can be manufactured with 1m or 1.25m sections. This provides a greater range of dimensions we can offer.

Simply click on each or both tabs and select the length, width and height required to reach the capacity you wish to achieve.

Suction size will need to be selected along with inlet size. The effective capacity will be shown on the right hand side along with the tank rim height, roof height and top of ball valve box / chamber. (please ignore length of Bays)

Note that once the tank height increases past a certain level, the length and width will change automatically due to increased stanchion sizes. The tank roof height may also increase depending on the tank width and length. This is a result of the roof purlins having to carry longer spans.
